About the Event
This three-day festival features multiple routes to ride on, open to both vintage and modern bikes. Learn about the history and inspiration behind the Central Coast Classico, and the people who came together to make it happen.
When & Where
With its coastal climbs, quiet roads, and perfect spring weather, Cambria is a cyclist’s dream basecamp. Ride straight from town into rolling hills, pine-lined backroads, and scenic gravel sectors loved by locals. Whether you’re driving in from California or flying in from abroad, Cambria sits right in the heart of the Central Coast—remote enough to escape the bustle, but easy to reach from anywhere.
The Ride
The main rides of the Central Coast Classico will take place on Saturday, April 25, and be spread across two different categories.
Each category will have two options for routes—both of them non-timed, loaded with their own local challenges, and complemented by awesome Central Coast views.
Honoring cycling heritage—steel bikes from pre-1987 era encouraged
Open to contemporary road and gravel bikes
Jade Ride
A beautiful coastal ride along iconic Highway 1 and past the historic Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, perfect for enjoying ocean views, moderate terrain, sea breezes, and a chill beach vibe.
Support, Safety & Logistics
Each route will feature aid stations with water, snacks, rest stops, and some mechanical support. Plus, a sweeper vehicle will follow the course to pick up any strays.

Limestone Ride
A more adventurous option with some gravel segments and spirited climbing—rewarding and arduous, showcasing the rugged beauty and the rolling back country vineyards of the Coastal Range.
