Travel & Accommodation

Cambria is waiting to welcome you to the Central Coast for this event. Explore what this beautiful town has to offer as you arrive and stay for your ride.

Why Cambria

A winding path cuts through a grassy coastal landscape under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds, leading towards a distant rocky shoreline and the ocean.

Just west of the Paso Robles wine region, along iconic Highway 1 on the Central Coast of California, Cambria offers stunning coastal climbs, car-lite roads, and a welcoming town with wine, food, and wildflower-covered hillsides.

Lodging Partners

A coastal garden with colorful flowers and shrubs overlooks a scenic ocean view. A patio with two chairs and a table sits nearby, and houses line the right side under a clear blue sky. A seagull flies overhead.

With boutique lodging and vacation rentals including oceanfront, hillside, and in-town locations, Cambria, San Simeon and Cayucos offers the perfect home base for your cycling getaway. Many properties offer bike-friendly amenities and are just minutes from the ride start line.

Travel Tips

Wooden steps lead down to a sandy beach with scattered driftwood, coastal vegetation on the hillside, and waves rolling in under a partly cloudy blue sky.

Cambria is easy to reach from anywhere in California—just a scenic drive off Highway 1. Whether you’re coming from the Bay Area or Southern California, plan to arrive early, explore the coast, and give yourself time to settle in before the weekend’s rides.
