The Central Coast Classico
The Central Coast Classico is a three-day cycling festival in Cambria, California that celebrates the soul of cycling—where steel frames from the past come to play with the modern bikes of now. This new event brings together heritage craftsmanship, challenging coastal routes, and a community-first spirit set against quiet back roads, rolling green hills, and unforgettable scenery.
A New Chapter From an Old Story
Born from decades of riding, racing, and a deep love of vintage bicycles, the Central Coast Classico carries forward the spirit of cycling’s past—reimagined for the Central Coast. With roots tied to classic events, the festival is brought to life by people who have lived and breathed this culture for years. Meet the local legends and passionate community cyclists behind the Classico.
“Riding our local Central Coast backroads for decades, and working alongside previous Eroica California teams, I’ve developed the notion to found our own event, the Central Coast Classico. We will proudly share what promises to be a memorable experience with our participants this spring!”
Aaron Linn
Restaurateur & Cambria local who fed Eroica riders for years
“I fell into a life of cycling primarily because I grew up on the Central Coast. It’s magic here, and cycling became my means of communing with and exploring that magic. This event is our way of transmitting this magic to the world.”
Adam Laurent
Pan-Am gold medalist and Team USA alum
“I used to take life as it came… Now life has come and taken me.”
Ronnie Wannagat
Local wine industry veteran and cyclist
